Arcata and Humboldt Bay Area (2005-2015)
The Arcata and Humboldt Bay Area portfolio is focused entirely on a small region located within my geographic home, amidst the southern reach of the Pacific Northwest. Here we have rain, foggy skies, forests, and ocean views. It’s an opposite-land from that depicted in my portfolios centered on the desert wilderness of southeastern California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. My attraction to the open space of desert biomes is perhaps as apparent as my affinity for the open space of Humboldt Bay and surrounding bottom lands.
