Grimes Point Petroglyphs 1, Churchill County, Nevada, 2003
Grimes Point Petroglyphs 1 was photographed in the warm
light of a summer's setting sun on August 30, 2003. Grimes
Point, off Highway 50 near Fallon, is an educational roadside
attraction with interpretive trail. The petroglyphs here
overlook an ancient lake bed and are home to some of Nevada's
oldest petroglyphs.
