Painted Rocks, Poison Canyon, California, 2004
Painted Rocks was photographed in the morning of January 15,
2004. A close look at these rocks will reveal rock colored paint
over "graffiti" while preserving the painted faces. These rocks
are easily viewed between Ridgecrest and Trona off Highway 178.
The jet trail is from a navy warplane over China Lake Naval Weapons
Center.
