I frequently work in series. When a photograph is seen in the context of another, a dialogue forms. I enjoy being involved in this relationship and generally work with the intention of making photographs that belong with one another.
The Road Series is a collection of spontaneous photographs from handheld cameras and are documents of actual time and place of sites along various roadways. I enjoy a good destination, but the journey to and from often provides the best opportunity to see something unexpected, to experience an expression left by fellow travelers, and to revel in being on the road again.
